Licensing for JUCE plugins, on your own WooCommerce shop.
Signed licences, machine seats, 14 days offline and subscriptions. Your customer list stays on your server, and there is no per-sale fee.
Seatlock also keeps your DSP constants encrypted until a valid licence is present, so a cracked build has no working sound engine.

What you get
Licence server
A WordPress plugin for your own WooCommerce shop. It issues keys, tracks machines and seats, handles subscriptions and refunds, and gives your customers a page where they see and free their own activations.
GPL-2.0-or-later
C++ SDK
A JUCE module with a compiled core. Signed licences, a hardware fingerprint, offline use and silent failure.
Commercial licence
seatlock-tool
Encrypts your DSP constants into your build. They can be used only while the plugin holds a valid licence.

How the protection works
Most licensing only checks whether the software is licensed. The code that makes the sound is already complete in the binary, so removing the check is enough to crack it.
Seatlock also locks the sound engine itself.
- You choose the constants your product cannot work without: filter coefficients, curve tables, the values you tuned for years.
seatlock-toolencrypts them into your build.- They can be used only while a valid licence is present. Without one, the plugin has none of the values its sound depends on.
We do not claim that any protection cannot be defeated. Software running on a computer the attacker controls can eventually be taken apart. What Seatlock changes is the cost: instead of removing one check, an attacker faces a much larger job, repeated for every product and every release.
Check us before you pay
- Try the whole system. The live demo is a complete shop with sample data. Sign in with the published login and click anything.
- Follow the guide. The step-by-step guide shows every screen, from installing the plugin to the first activation.
- See what we test. Every release runs 1,708 automated checks before it ships.
- Read how we handle security. What is signed, what is encrypted, what we do not claim, and how to report a problem: Security.
- Know who you buy from. Paddle is the merchant of record, and the Contact and Legal Notice names the business behind Seatlock.
What it does for your customers
Silence, not nagging
An unlicensed build makes no sound. No timer, no noise burst, no pop-up in the middle of a session.
Two weeks offline
The licence renews daily in the background when there is a network. A studio without one keeps working for 14 days.
New machines are normal
New computer, new drive or a reinstalled system: the seat moves itself, twice in thirty days, without an e-mail to you.
Customers manage their machines
A page in their account lists every activation and lets them free one, so “I sold my old Mac” is not a support ticket.
Platform support
Plugins: macOS, Apple silicon and Intel. Windows support is in testing and comes in the next release, included in your updates.
Shop: any WordPress with WooCommerce (free), on your own hosting. Selling subscriptions also needs WooCommerce Subscriptions, a paid extension sold separately by WooCommerce; without it, everything else works.
Tested before every release

One licence, one price, everything in it
